pleased to offer Puppy Primer taught by Certified Applied Animal
Behaviorist, Adrienne Navarro.
Puppy
Primer is a behavioral seminar series designed to teach you how
to better understand your puppy’s needs, properly socialize your
puppy, and curb behavior problems.
Did
you know that the most critical time for behavioral development
in your dog’s life is that of early puppyhood? If you have a new
puppy or are getting a new puppy soon, this seminar series is for
you!
Puppy
Primer is a 4 week, on-going series. You can join at any
time.
Puppy
Primer is held on Wednesday evenings at 6pm at Carson Valley
Veterinary Hospital in Minden (1390 Hwy 88).
 The
cost is $25 per week or $85 for all 4 weeks.
You
can attend any or all weeks.*
Topics
by week include (3 seminars + puppy party):
- The
“How To” of Housetraining and Socialization
- Dealing
with Destructive Chewing and Puppy Nipping
- Preventing
Separation Anxiety and Aggression
- Puppy
Party** - including Puppy Playtime, Pass the Puppy and Puppy Q&A
*Puppies
do not attend the behavioral seminars.
**Puppies
must be between the age of 9-18 weeks and
at least one week post initial
vaccinations
(DHPP) given by a veterinarian to attend a puppy party.
